As Stahlalpine we sell around 50.000 tons of high quality wire rod and about 5.000tons of seamless steel tubes per year.
All of our steels are produced in Austria in voestalpine’s own integrated still mill combining every single step from melting to rolling to heat treatment to packaging.

Voestalpine Wire Rod Austria GmbH
Voestalpine Wire Rod Austria GmbH has its own steel production and mill in Austria, using the most modern technology in Europe. The wire rolling mill uses state-of-the-art technology for temperature controlled milling through a loop and roller cooling bed with precisely controlled measurement tolerances.
Voestalpine Wire Rod Austria GmbH's comprehensive quality management (steel plant - rolling mill - wire processing) has achieved ISO 9001, ISO TS 16949, ISO 14001 and EMAS certifications.
Voestalpine Tubulars supplies seamless tubular products with an exterior diameter of 177.8 mm (7 inches).
In addition to the seamless tubular products used in the drilling, voestalpine Tubulars produces Hollows for Redraw, Mechanical Tubes, Boiler and Heat Exchanger Tubes. These pipes are used in various environments within the Automotive, Construction, Tunneling and Fluid Transportation Industries.
